- Well that depends. If you are allowed to call in and esblish a SLIP
- connection, then it would be fairly simple. HOWEVER, if you call in and
- you get a prompt that lets you login to unix (or other) boxes, then
- probably not. What program do you use to call up your unix account?
- Just a terminal program like Procomm (telix, qmodem etc) or a special
- program give to you by your school?

- BTW, SLIP (Serial Line Internet Protocol) allows you to act like your
- home computer is really on the NET. Your IP number is the same as the
- modem's IP number. Actually, the terminal port's IP that your school's
- modem is connected to. Provide us w/ more detail so we can help.

- People keep asking this question about a "telnet server". Has anyone looked
- into Deskview X from Quarterdeck? That may well have some sort of DOS box
- you can telnet to.
